| To most, Little
Shop Of Horrors, will be a great evening of entertainment where you
can shake off the "Winter Doldrums" in Mid-March, 2003, but to
Co-Producer, Bob Patey and Director, Bil Katrina, it is much more. It is a
contest, that is said to be "The Battle of Methacton Community Theater's
Quarter Century.
Katrina projected that there would be at least 1350 patrons who come to enjoy this show. Patey argues that the number will be much lower. So, like any two self-respecting Desperados, they made a gentlemen's bet and decided to shoot it out. To fortify the wager, Patey and Katrina have both agreed that the loser will have to “Perform” in front of the audience on closing night, March 29, 2003. That is about all they said. MCT Treasurer, Kim Hirshberg will give the official tally of attendees and the winner will be announced at the closing night’s intermission on March 29, 2003. That is when the loser will … Well, you’ll have to come to the show to find out. Little Shop Of Horrors Opens Friday, March 14, 2003 with other performances on March 15, 21, 22, 28, 29. Shootout Rules Entering is FREE - Ticket purchase is required to win. Winner must present valid ticket stubs as proof of purchase for Little Shop Of Horrors at any show between March 14 and 29, 2003 at Methacton Community Theater in Trappe, PA to win. In case of several entrants having the same winning number, their name will be placed in a basket for a blind name pull. Cut-off date for submissions is Noon on March 14, 2003. The decision of the Methacton Community Theater Board of Directors will be final. Prizes can not be converted to a monetary value. There is no cash value attached to the prizes nor does this event constitute any endorsement. Subject to restrictions and availability.
