Bill
Boorse (Jonathon Brewster) is making his second appearance with MCT.
He was last seen in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Bill has worked as a stagehand at the Dupont Playhouse in Wilmington in addition
to helping with productions at PV High School. In his spare time, Bill
works as a quality control manager and performs as Boris the Magician. He
enjoys time with his family and can be found in, under, or around his '57 MG.
John
Clark (Officer O'Hara) previously appeared at MCT in Bus Stop (Carl)
and in Annie (Mr. Bundles/ Howe/Chorus). He is thrilled to again work
with Bil Katrina as his director, and he thanks Bil for all his hard work.
John also thanks his wife, Mindy, and daughters, Emily and Lauren, for their
love and support.
Adrian
DiGiovanni (Officer Brophy) is a rock and roll guitar hero, currently
working with the Superband, Future-Boy. He has also appeared in ten stage
plays and just finished shooting the independent comedic film, Degenerates.
Adrian graduated with a BA in theater from Kutztown University last December and
is still waiting to see if it will do him any good. "Wish me luck!"
Michael
Dobbins (Reverend Dr. Harper) has been involved with MCT for 8 years. Arsenic
and Old Lace marks is 16th appearance on stage. He has served in Tech/
Stage manager roles for 9 shows and has directed 3 children's shows and 1 adult
cast show, Bus Stop. Mike would like to thank his wife, Michelle,
for all her support of both him and MCT, and his daughter, Cara, for dragging
him into the theater scene 8 years ago.
David
Ben Leavitt (Teddy Bewster) was most recently seen on stage as Dr. Chumley
in Harvey. Other favorite roles include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth
Night, Lord Stanley in Richard III, Tristan l'hermite in The
Vagabond King and Mr. Bunthorn's Solicitor in Patience. David
has directed over thirty plays in the tri-state area for such groups as Thespis
Etc., Barnstrormers, Stagecrafters, King of Prussia Players, Ardensingers, St.
Thomas Players, and the Delaware County Opera Company.
Wilma
Morgan (Martha Brewster) has been in numerous productions at MCT. Her
most recent endeavor was as Mrs. Mullen in Carousel. She has also
appeared in Music Man, Oliver, and Black Patent Leather Shoes.
She has graced the stages of Footlighters and Old Forge Theater. She would
like to thank Bil for this wonderful opportunity and her husband and two
daughters for their support and encouragement.
David
Moyer (Mr. Witherspoon) is making his 10th appearance with MCT. He was
last seen in My Fair Lady. He played Mr. Witherspoon in 1998 for the
Dramatuers. He praises God for his talent, dedicates his performance to
the victims of the September 11th tragedy and thanks his two directors - Bil
(2001) and Bos (1998) for believing he could play the head of a nuthouse.
Gillian
Reeve (Elaine Harper) likes daisies. She is currently a junior at
DeSalles University, majoring in theater. This is her first production at MCT
and what a long, strange trip it has been. Gillian would like to thank all
the wonderful toll collectors on the turnpike that made her drive such a
wonderful trip.
Brian
Schwartz (Mortimer Brewster) says there are no words fit to describe the
excitement he feels as a member of this cast and this theater group. It
has been his pleasure to share in MCT's 25th season and he only hopes that he
can share that excitement with the audience here tonight. If you like what
you see tonight, please come back in December for our annual holiday show, Narnia,
for which Brian will serve as director.
Bill
Shimer (Lt. Rooney) is making his sixth appearance in an MCT producytion.
He previously appeared in The Music Man, Carousel, Oliver, Annie (as
Drake the Butler) and in My Fair Lady (as Alfred P. Doolittle). He
has greatly enjoyed working with this terrific cast and superb director. Bill
thanks his lovely wife, Beth, and his daughters, Becca and Cyndi, for their
support and understanding.
John
Silvestre (Mr. Gibbs) has been here before and he's back again.
Barbara Simon-Reale (Abby Brewster) has been very active in community
theater for sixteen years, with roles ranging from performer, assistant
director, co-producer, and sound tech. Some of her other credits include Rumors,
Lost in Yonkers, The Odd Couple, Spoon River Anthology, The Cemetery Club
and God's Favorite. Barbara is happiest when she is on stage and is
currently pursuing a career in professional theater, commercials, and
modeling. She is a homemaker and honor student at a local college. She and
her husband, Tom, have 5 children together and 5 adorable grandchildren. She
would like to dedicate all her performances in Arsenic and Old Lace to
the loving memory of dear friend, Arlene Sargent.
Ed
Zeiser (Dr. Herman Einstein) last appeared on the MCT stage as Colonel
Pickering in My Fair Lady. Other favorite roles include, Maraczek
in She Loves Me, Dr. Lymon in Bus Stop, and the eponymous Finian
in Finian's Rainbow. Ed is a retire chemistry teacher and is an
avid student of the brass trombone.
