Directors
Bil Katrina
Mike Dobbins
John Clark (Carl) This is Johns second production with MCT and
he is again delighted to be part of such a professional, dedicated and fun group of
people. Playing the part of "Carl" actually fulfills one of Johns
childhood desires to grow up to be a bus driver! Nowadays he spends his work time
as the CFO and Legal Counsel for Access Services, a non-profit organization that serves
the needs of persons with developmental disabilities. John thanks his wife Mindy and
daughters Emily and Lauren for their love and support, and he thanks Directors Mike and
Bil for their hard work and guidance.
Bob DeMarco (Bo)
- This is Bob's first appearance here
at MCT, but he is no stranger to the stage. This show marks his 24th production
in exactly 3 years. His favorite role by far, was in The Complete Works of
Shakespeare Abridged, a 3-man show in which he played 19 characters including
Juliet, Ophelia and Queen Gertrude. He played Stanley in Run For Your Wife
and Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest. Thanks to the directors,
cast and crew for a wonderful experience, and special thanks to Mom and Dad for always
supporting him.
Don Henry (Will) Don has previously appeared in MCT's productions of
Carousel, The Little Town of Christmas, and Annie.
He lives in Eagleville with his wife Kathy and daughter Emma. A long time member of the
Norristown Chorale, he serves as that group's webmaster (www.norristownchorale.org).
Brenda Hunsberger (Grace) -
Brenda has been active with MCT since joining in 1997. Some of her MCT favorites
include playing Smee in Peter Pan in Neverland, being Mrs. Sowerberry in OLIVER!,
and as herself in Grand Night for Singing. When not on stage, Brenda enjoys
serving on MCTs Board of Directors and putting together costumes for shows. Her
supportive husband, Norm, builds sets for many MCT productions. They have two daughters,
Darlene and Diana who are also active in shows and behind the scenes. "Thank you for
stopping in at the Bus Stop and we hope to serve you again!"
Emily James (Elma) Emily
is a sophomore at Norristown Area High School. She has been acting professionally for 3
years and visited "The Big Apple" this summer to speak with several casting
agents! This is Emilys first experience with MCT (and definitely not her last). You
can see Emily in Truman Capotes The Grass Harp playing at Forge
Theater in December. You can also tune into Channel 54, this January, for Up For A
Change, a science-fiction family film, where she plays the quirky "Cassie
Vaughn", a secret alien mystery solver, amongst many other planet dwellers.
Anniina Jokinen (Cherie) -
This is Anniina's first production with MCT, and she would like to thank everyone for
making her feel so welcome. Some of the shows she has done this year include, The
Importance of Being Earnest and An Act of the Imagination at Dutch
Country Players, and On Borrowed Time at Playcrafters. Anniina lives in
Lower Gwynedd with her husband and two doggies.
Eric
Teplitz (Virgil) - Eric is a singer/songwriter who has released his
own CD entitled "Sanity
Check and Other Love Songs". He makes his acting debut in "Bus Stop", and
can also be seen in Roomies (an Ambler Rotary Club production) at
Wissahickon High School on Nov. 3-4, 2000.
Ed Zeiser (Dr. Lyman) Ed is excited to be returning to a more dramatic
role at Methacton Community Theater having previously performed as the Starkeeper in the
musical Carousel, and Lt. Ward/Sec. Morganthau in MCT's production of Annie.
Among his favorite roles are Hasler in The Pajama Game, the Stage Manager in
Our Town, and the eponymous Finian in Finians Rainbow.
Ed is a retired chemistry teacher and an enthusiastic student of the bass trombone.
