Directing at MCT

Do you want to Direct a show at MCT or want to submit a show idea for a future season?

DIRECTING SUBMISSIONS WELCOME!   Methacton Community Theater is accepting submissions from potential directors for our 2011 season and beyond.  Currently we do four productions a year – spring, summer and two in the fall.  Our spring and one of the fall productions are small musicals or musical revues performed at the Shannondell Performing Arts Center.  Our summer show is a large, family-oriented musical and our other fall production is a local author showcase, typically a small cast comedy, done in a dinner theater venue.  Submissions should include the play title, author's name, publisher, a brief synopsis, cast requirements and set, costuming and any technical requirements.  The Methacton Community Theater is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization so all positions are volunteer only and without monetary compensation.  Please visit our website at www.methactoncommunitytheater.org to review our past productions.  Proposals and questions can be emailed to info@methactoncommunitytheater.org.

 Please feel free to submit ideas and requests for future seasons, as well. We also would like for you to consider other production jobs, such as Music Director, Stage Manager, Lighting, Sound and Stage Designers, Technicians, Director Trainees. etc.
