Scholarship
For 27 years, MCT has given a $400 scholarship to a graduating Methacton High School student.  We have added another $400 scholarship for a Perkiomen Valley High School student. The student must be planning to continue their education and have been active in the performing arts while in high school.   This can include performing in dramas or musicals, jazz, concert or marching bands, orchestra or choral groups, or participating in any of the behind the scene skills including stage crew, set design or set construction.  Students in these school districts should contact their guidance office for details.
Team Triva Night
A fun night of team trivia and prizes.  2002 was the 1st annual Trivia Night. For 2003, we changed the date from May to February to help chase away the winter blues. Get together your team of 8 players now and start studying. April 29, 2005 is this year's date.
Contact Jeannette Patey,  John Corkum or Michelle Miller for details and tickets.
Lower Providence FunDay
Every September.  MCT was there again last year, selling soft pretzels and offering a duck pond game for the kids.   Come visit our stand, look through our scrap books and tell how we can get you involved.

Writer's Night
Come meet the writers who submitted short stories and poetry to the annual writer's contest sponsored by the Methacton School District.  MCT members read selected entries, serve delicious refreshments and offer an unusual opportunity for the public to see the talent that lives in their  own back yard.

Haunted Hayride
Want to see what happened to the Titanic passengers?   Come to the Lower Providence Optimists Club's Haunted Hayride in October to experience what it might have felt like for the passengers of this famous ship.
